Main duties of the job

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic salaried GP to join our team for 5 sessions per week: 2 sessions on Monday, 2 on Thursday, and 1 on Friday morning. Every other Monday the PM session would cover the extended hours 18:30-20:00. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population within a supportive and well-organised practice setting. You will be responsible for conducting consultations, managing a range of clinical presentations, and contributing to the continuity of care for our patients.We welcome applications from candidates who require sponsorship, as we are a registered sponsorship practice. Provide consultations and clinical assessments to patients, managing a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with practice policies and NHS standards.Participate in duty doctor rota and contribute to on-call responsibilities as required.Work collaboratively with colleagues, including GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.Support the practice''s commitment to training and education, including mentoring opportunities for medical students and GP registrars.Engage in clinical governance activities, including audits, significant event reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.Contribute to the development and delivery of enhanced services and participate in PCN activities.Person Specification

Qualifications

GMC registration with a licence to practise.Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a team.Experience in teaching or mentoring.Interest in clinical leadership or service development.Willingness to participate in GP Fellowship programmes.Disclosure and Barring Service Check
