Expleo is supporting a high-performance automotive manufacturer in Surrey and looking for a Quality Engineer to join for a 3-month contract. This role is suited to individuals with strong quality analysis and problem-solving experience in a production/assembly environment.

We''re seeking individuals who can analyse root causes, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement in General Assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• * Lead root cause analysis for quality issues (4M, PPS, Fishbone)
• * Drive containment and corrective actions with relevant teams
• * Support GA teams with coaching to improve build quality
• * Generate clear reports and track quality metrics using MS Office
• * Contribute to lean and process improvement activities

Skills & Experience

• * Background in vehicle assembly or quality engineering
• * Strong problem-solving tools: PPS, Six Sigma, 4M
• * Good understanding of vehicle systems (Powertrain, Body, Chassis, Electrical)
• * Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint
• * Able to work with cross-functional teams on the shop floor

Preferred Qualifications

• * Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, or similar
• * Lean / Six Sigma certified (desirable)
• * Familiarity with PFMEA / DFMEA / 8D
