Secondary academy seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology to join its successful Technology department.

This role would suit educators with expertise in Wood Technology, 3D Design, Food Technology, or Art.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Promoting excellent workshop practice and health and safety standards.
• Planning and assessing high-quality learning experiences.
• Supporting extracurricular enrichment activities where appropriate.
• Working closely with colleagues to drive curriculum development.

Applicants should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong workshop experience and knowledge of machinery and tools.
• The ability to teach practical elements confidently.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
