About the Role:

• Deliver stimulating Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach confidently within your science specialism, tailoring lessons to accommodate the diverse needs of learners.
• Cultivate a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and a passion for scientific exploration.
• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations, emphasizing both subject knowledge and exam strategies.
• Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support continuous academic growth.
• Collaborate closely with Science department colleagues to design innovative and effective curriculum plans.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification in Science (candidates without formal qualifications but with relevant experience may also be considered).
• Proven experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools, with a demonstrated ability to enhance student achievement.
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum, especially in your specialist area.
• Excellent classroom management skills, capable of engaging and supporting students with diverse abilities and needs.
• Proactive and collaborative team player, committed to working with colleagues to drive student success.
