The Resolute Group is proud to have been retained to identify and secure a Head of Infrastructure for a Rail operator in the South East of England. Leading a team of circa 100 Rail and Civil Engineering professionals to maintain an operational railway, covering a 24/7 work pattern. The Head of Infrastructure is responsible for both daily operations and using a proactive reliability improvement asset management plan to deliver a safe and reliable service in adherence to safety, performance and cost expectations.Responsible for the Infrastructure (Track, Civils and Systems) maintenance business unit in terms of safety, asset performance and reliability.Sets strategic agenda for safety for all those involved in infrastructure activities, including the active management of the direct labour and contractors.Looking for continuous improvement and management opportunities, aiming to improve the performance and be compliant with contractual and statutory obligations.This role is office-based, 5 days a week, as you will need to a visible leader, supporting 24/7 teams across 4 different disciplines. Due to the role being office-based you need to be living in and around the London region.
