Quality Engineer - Compliance and AuditingWe are supporting a well-established precision engineering business operating within highly regulated sectors, including aerospace and defence. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their quality team at their Greater Manchester facility.Purpose of the roleEnsure the business maintains compliance with aerospace standards, customer requirements and internal quality systems. This role focuses on audits, quality systems, compliance and continuous improvement rather than the day-to-day quality of manufactured products.Typical responsibilitiesMaintain and improve the QMS / IMSConduct internal process and system auditsSupport external customer, AS9100 and accreditation auditsManage non-conformances from a systems perspectiveSupport MRB and concession processesProduce quality reports and KPI dataDevelop SOPs and quality documentationDrive corrective and preventative actionsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvementSupport calibration systemsEnsure compliance with aerospace and customer requirementsIdeal candidateQuality Engineer or Lead AuditorStrong AS9100 knowledgeInternal auditing experienceQMS / IMS experienceManufacturing backgroundPrevious inspection experience beneficialPlease contact Coral at DCS to apply.
