NXTGEN are pleased to be working exclusively with a successful business based just south of Norwich, who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic and friendly Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established organisation offering flexibility, stability and a supportive working environment. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will play a key role within the finance function, supporting the Accounts Payable Manager and the wider team. The business operates a hybrid working policy. Key responsibilities will include:Registration and posting of purchase invoices (circa 150 invoices per week)Investigating invoice queries and discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments, ensuring issues are resolved ahead of due datesProviding weekly updates to the Accounts Payable Manager on outstanding queriesProcessing weekly payment runsCash allocationsRaising debit notes and maintaining accurate recordsSupplier statement reconciliationsNew supplier account set-up and ongoing maintenanceAssisting during the annual audit processProviding holiday cover for other team membersSupporting with ad hoc finance tasks as required The ideal candidate will have previous purchase ledger experience gained within a busy finance environment and be comfortable managing a high-volume workload.
