Salary: (andpound;33,075 - andpound;45,037 per annum) - Dependent on experience
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring English Teacher to join a dynamic, forward-thinking secondary school in Watford from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on studentsandrsquo; learning and development in a school that values academic excellence and fosters a love of literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3/KS4).
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of English literature and language.
- Support and monitor studentsandrsquo; progress, providing feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all students, including those with SEN.
- Contribute to the schoolandrsquo;s wider educational ethos and participate in extracurricular activities when required.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide professional development initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Be a passionate, engaging, and knowledgeable teacher of English.
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Have a strong understanding of the English curriculum, assessment methods, and the latest educational practices.
- Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff, and be proactive in supporting student welfare.
