Responsibilities of the Electrical Estimator: Prepare accurate cost estimates for busbar, transformers, underfloor busbar, and desk power systems. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and schedules. Complete quantity take-offs and project scope assessments. Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs). Ensure estimates are technically compliant and commercially competitive. Prepare clear commercial offers covering costs, specifications, lead times, clarifications, and exclusions. Support tenders from enquiry through to submission. Respond to client queries and post-tender clarifications. Ensure accurate and timely submissions. Review project documentation against client requirements. Identify risks, discrepancies, and opportunities. Ensure compliance with relevant standards. Work with technical and sales teams to validate solutions. Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation. Ensure BOMs and quotations are traceable and auditable. Maintain pricing data and costing templates. Support improvements to estimating processes and tools. Strong knowledge of busbar and underfloor power distribution systems.
