Anaplan Manchester, United Kingdom. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll support our production platforms, including participating in our on-call rotation. You’ll work closely with service teams to continually improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You’ll also develop automation solutions, collaborate with engineering teams across the business, and help drive platform-wide performance improvements.Your Responsibilities

Mentor and support other SRE team membersLead complex changes and influence our operating strategyIdentify and deliver impactful SRE-led projectsDefine and uphold standards for our operating environmentsProvide expert guidance to the development teams we supportTroubleshoot and resolve production incidents, contributing to sustainable long-term solutionsDrive improvements in automation, observability, and reliability practicesPartner with infrastructure teams to evolve and strengthen our platformRequired qualifications

6+ years of experience in SRE or equivalent operationally focused engineering rolesExperience of Linux administrationExperience operating live, production-grade Kubernetes environmentsExpertise in problem diagnosis across complex, distributed systemsProficiency in a scripting language suited to automation (e.g., Python, Bash)Experience with Git version control and modern CI/CD and DevOps practicesDesirable

Hands-on experience with one or more public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with Event Streaming, Exception Management, and Integration technologies such as Apache PulsarExperience with stream-processing and batch-processing frameworks such as Apache FlinkExperience with configuration management and infrastructure as codeKnowledge of observability and monitoring best practicesPrior experience mentoring or coaching other engineersOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
