These are in-person tutoring opportunities and are not online roles.The role involves providing personalised Science tuition to learners who may have additional learning needs, SEND requirements or social, emotional and mental health needs. Tutors will be expected to build positive and trusting relationships with learners, provide a consistent approach to learning and adapt their teaching to meet individual needs.We are looking for Science Tutors who are passionate about helping young people re-engage with education, develop their subject knowledge, build confidence and make meaningful academic and personal progress.The Role May InvolveDelivering one-to-one or small-group Science tuitionSupporting learners across areas of Science, depending on their age, ability and individual learning needsSupporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needsPlanning engaging, accessible and personalised Science lessons and activitiesAdapting teaching approaches to suit individual abilities, learning needs and levels of engagementBreaking down complex scientific concepts into accessible and engaging learningBuilding positive, consistent and trusting relationships with learnersHelping students develop confidence, resilience, ..... full job details .....
