A well-established property and housing provider is seeking qualified Electricians to join its maintenance and property services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work while contributing to the safety and upkeep of residential properties.

About the Role

The successful candidate will carry out a variety of electrical works across residential homes, including inspections, testing, fault finding, repairs, and planned maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Carrying out remedial works following inspections
• Undertaking reactive and planned electrical maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Working closely with other trades, supervisors, and support staff
• Delivering excellent customer service to residents and tenants

Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• AM2 certification
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent inspection and testing qualification)
• Previous experience within domestic or residential maintenance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred

The role includes participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota, as emergency maintenance support may occasionally be required.
