The Opportunity

KO2''s client is an established and growing engineering business entering a major phase of manufacturing transformation.

They are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of the production function, with a clear pathway to Production Director within 12 months.

This is a hands-on role with real influence-ideal for someone who wants to step up, drive change, and progress into senior leadership.

The Role

You''ll lead a production reset, focusing on quality, process, and performance:

• Own end-to-end production operations
• Implement structured processes and quality controls
• Introduce FTPR (First Time Pass Rate) and production metrics
• Develop in-process and end-of-line testing systems
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis
• Build a high-performance, accountable team

About You

• Strong background in production engineering
• Electro-mechanical experience essential
• Proven experience in test, quality, and process improvement
• Comfortable with data, systems, and digital tools
• Ambitious, hands-on, and driven to progress

Progression

This role is designed as a Director pathway:

• Start as Production Manager (Delegate Director level)
• Promotion to Production Director within 12 months
• Enhanced package including bonus and potential equity (EMI)
