Electrical Design EngineerChippenhamSalary Dependent on ExperienceOur client is an environmental engineering specialist and they are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing company!Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign of both bespoke and standard control panels, as well as electrical installation schematics, for a variety of wastewater treatment projectsCreate detailed electrical schematics, 2D layouts, and wiring diagrams for control panels, compliant with customer specifications and industry standards using CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new machineryInterfacing with different internal and external stakeholdersSupport the panel assembly team during build and testing phases of control panelsDocument design revisions, support DCNs (Design Change Notices), and participate in design reviewsSupport the commissioning team to ensure successful FAT and SATIdeal CandidateSolid understanding of low-voltage motor control panel designYou will be proficient in CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)Experience with machine safety and functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849)Completed a formal qualification in an Engineering disciplineAble to demonstrate a practical approach to engineering to develop cost effective solution that meet customer requirementsYou will have good verbal and written communication ..... full job details .....
