Overview
Onsite Technical Desktop Support role at myGwork - LGBTQ+ Business Community. This role has Second Line responsibility for pre-empting, investigating and resolving Incidents. The role is onsite five days a week in Middlesex. Pre-employment checks include identity, nationality or immigration status, employment history going back 3 years, and unspent criminal record check (Disclosures and Barring Service).Responsibilities
Prepare and build Laptops and Desktops / Asset tagging of phones.Managing mailbox and Incident and Request Queue.Experience using a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Active Directory (AD), for accurate IT hardware management.Strong knowledge of managing mobile phones, including the configuration and wiping of iPhones and Android devices.Familiarity with System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune, including raising change requests and responsibility for resolving Incidents/Requests to SLA.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users and technical teams at all levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Your Skills And Experience
Microsoft Windows O/S (Windows 10/11) - working knowledge.Desktop hardware architecture – desktops and laptops.SCCM/Intune experience.Active Directory - basic administration.Networks experience to include an understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN and Wi-Fi technologies.Your Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). To be successfully appointed to this role you will need BPSS checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility.
