A Good Primary School in Basildon is looking to recruit a Nursery / Reception (EYFS / Early Years) ASD Specialist. This is a full-time, long-term post for the rest of the academic year.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support in Reception, including working with a young, non-verbal student with ASD.

Carry out Phonics, Spelling, Reading and Writing groups and 1:1 sessions; MAKATON experience preferred.

Provide personal care as required.

Deliver creative, sensory-based activities to support learning and well-being.

Requirements / Desirable Experience

Degree from a reputable university.

Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

Non-verbal ASD experience/knowledge.

Bubbly and engaging personality; comfortable working within a large team.

MAKATON experience preferred.

ASAP Start • Full-time • Full academic year

Salary: £88-£100 per day
