Electrician (EV/ Streetlighting) - Essex/London/South East 45,000 - 48,000 Per annumCompany CarJob descriptionOur client is looking for an individual who can work alone and within a team to help them service their long term contracts.Our Client works within many areas and require an electrician who will be working mainly on our Street Lighting Contracts.The role will be to carry out electrical and structural inspection and testing surveys of street furniture, electric vehicle charge point (EVCP), maintenance and installation works.Location of works: Essex/ London/ South EastKey activitiesInstall, maintain, and repair street lighting, Electric Vehicle Charge Points EVCP, including feeder pillars etc.Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in street lighting and EVCPElectrical and structural Inspection and testing of street furnitureOperate mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)Respond to emergency lighting issues, restoring service promptly to minimize disruption.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including materials used.Inspect and test electrical systems in compliance with BS 7671Tasks like SWA jointing and installing cut-outs, lighting columns and EVCPParticipate in emergency call-out rotaComplete necessary documentation on electronic devices or paperwork.If applicable Install traffic management, including signage and guardingAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, ensuring safe systems of work.Ability to work ..... full job details .....
