KS3/4 English Specialist - Bury - Specialist Education

Prospero Teaching is looking for a English Teacher for a long term role, starting ASAP. You will be responsible for teaching English, both to KS3 and KS4.

The school is a small but outstanding Specialist Setting and you will be teaching groups of up to 6 or 7 students and you will be ably supported by skilful learning assistants.

The school offers GCSE subjects for its students and prides itself on offering a supportive, calm environment for learning.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

English Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
