Role: Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate. Location: Merseyside Hours: 35 hours per week ( Monday - Friday 9-5)Pay: £14 -£18 pounds an hour (dependent on pay status)Contract: Temp on goingA specialist domestic abuse service in Merseyside is seeking an experienced Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate (IDSVA) to support high-risk survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.Key Responsibilities:Provide trauma-informed advocacy and support to survivorsComplete risk assessments and safety plans using MeRITSupport clients through criminal and civil court processesRepresent clients at MARAC meetingsWork closely with Police, Housing, Social Care, Health, and other partner agenciesMaintain accurate case records and safeguarding standardsEssential Requirements: Domestic and Sexual Abuse TrainingMinimum 2 years experience in a domestic/sexual abuse support roleExperience in advocacy, risk assessment, and safety planningStrong understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislationExcellent communication and case management skillsFull driving licence and access to a vehicleEnhanced DBS required dated within the last 12 months or on the Update Service Needs to be available immediatelyPlease note: Due to the nature of the role, this post is open to female applicants only under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.Supporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency.If this sounds of interest, please call Ellie on (phone number removed) or ..... full job details .....
