The Role:
We are looking for an outstanding English Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with the potential for Key Stage 5 if applicable). The ideal candidate will be passionate about literature, language, and the power of words to inspire and challenge young minds. You will play a key role in fostering a love of English and supporting students in achieving their full academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective English lessons for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of all abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students are encouraged to think critically and creatively.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the English department to develop and share best practices.
- Contribute to the school’s wider ethos, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.

What We Are Looking For:

- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for English education.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and self-improvement.
- Experience in teaching GCSE English is preferred, and A-Level teaching experience is a bonus.
