Sales and Production Assistant

up to -37500, Bradford, 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday, company pension, work excursions and nights out

This role is to support a newly appointed General Manager across stores, goods in, dispatch and transport as well as maintaining sales and chasing and issuing quotes.

Duties will include

• Developing external sales and maintaining existing customers, producing and chasing quotes and processing all sales orders.

• Deal with Autocad designs, work from drawings to manage materials, ensuring availability for production and undertake purchasing.

• Ensuring that the ERP system is kept updated with all information
• Production Planning - purchasing all materials and monitoring lead times so that they are ordered in time
• Stock Control of all materials and receiving all goods in
• Organise logistics and dispatch of completed orders
• Deal with all incoming calls to the department
• Ensuring compliance with EN1090

Requirements

• You will be computer literate with particular skills in AutoCAD, MS Office, CRM and MRP solutions.
• Previous work experience in an operations role where you have coordinated and supported.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, confident when dealing with people by phone, in person and on email.
• Proven time management skills, be able to multi task and prioritise your own workload
• Ideally you will be Degree qualified in an Engineering field or equivalent
