Overview

Enterprise Sales Director - Vertical Markets at Motorola Solutions. Remote role with extensive travel expected. The role focuses on developing and implementing a sales team to target enterprise accounts, with emphasis on Body Worn Cameras and Number Plate Readers. The Sales Director will lead the development and execution of effective sales strategies, manage a high-performing team of sales and market experts, and foster relationships with channel partners and Fortune 500 organizations.Responsibilities

Develop strong, trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the customer base to understand and influence fundingStrategize and execute identified strategic priorities and projectsLead internal teams on critical projects and issue resolution with clear directionMaintain target customer intelligence data in Motorola CRM and provide timely, accurate sales forecastDrive strategies with enterprise customers for Motorola success in their procurement environmentAchieve order and revenue targets for assigned teams/territory by maintaining a healthy pipelineNetwork with Motorola Solutions partners including pre-sales, services, marketing, product management, sales operations, and order/credit managementEnablement of the channel partner communityForecast territory order and revenue on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basisLeverage promotions and incentives to drive current quarter revenueConduct joint end-user sales calls as coaching and trainingCoach Account Managers to drive efficiencies and contributionsMonitor competition and technology disruptors affecting the market and partner ecosystemUnderstand Motorola Solutions contract terms and compliance requirementsBasic Requirements

6+ years of enterprise sales6+ years of experience in one of: Sales, Video or Physical Security2+ years of Sales Leadership experienceExperience selling to Vertical Markets such as Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, Education, Manufacturing, Private Security, Transportation or Loss PreventionAbility to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives in Fortune 500 accountsExperience working with and managing channel partnersStart-up experience beneficialEffective negotiation skillsAbility to drive strategies with enterprise customers and navigate their purchasing environmentsUnderstanding of enterprise domain, Motorola portfolio, competitive landscape, procurement processes; able to work with enterprise decision makingAbility to quickly learn Salesforce as the project reporting tool and forecast methodLocation and Travel
