We are seeking an experienced Deputy-Manager to manage a supported living service in the Solihull-area.The role is with a great company who manage a portfolio of homes and supported living accomodation in the West Midlands, and they are very well respected for their levels of care and how the staff are treated.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge and the opportunity to help a service grow and to ensure the lives of the service users-are fully supported with excellent levels of care. This role is to deputy manage 1-of their services with approx 35 support workers and seniors,-alongside the Registered Manager.

  • Up to -30,000 per annum DOE

The Role:
As a Deputy Manager your role will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of care services, delivering high levels of care in line with regulations
  • Managing staff and resources effectively
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans
  • Liaising with families, and healthcare professionals
  • Assessments, supervisions and overall management of the care team
  • Following of policies and procedures
  • Dealing with any safeguarding issues
  • Daily meetings with other senior staff
  • Work closley with the registered manager
  • Completion of audits and help with outcomes for service users

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Deputy Manager-should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare management - level 3-or be working towards it
  • Experience in a senior-role, ideally in a supporrted living or residential care-home setting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Have a strong character and be a good communicator
  • Be a reflective leader
  • Want to develop their own style of management
  • Work closely with the regional managers to develop growth plans for the service
  • Worked as a manager or a deputy manager or a team leader/senior- looking to step up

The Package:
