The role focuses on minimising downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring high standards of safety and reliability.ShiftsDays: Mon-Thurs 6:00-14:30 Fri 6:00-14:00Backshift: Mon-Thurs 14:00-22:00 Fri 14:00-21:30 (one week in three)Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance and identify potential issues earlyRespond to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and completing repairs promptlyPerform routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient equipment operationMaintain compliance with health, safety, and food safety standardsKeep accurate records (inspections, downtime, job cards)Manage critical spare parts availabilitySupport installation and commissioning of new equipmentAssist with facility and building maintenanceWork with the engineering team on continuous improvement initiativesSupport production line changeovers with minimal disruptionEnsure contractors follow site procedures and standardsPromote a strong safety-first cultureRequirementsHND or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Experience in FMCG and food manufacturing environmentsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsDetail-oriented, organised, and methodical approachAbility to work independently and take ownershipFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced ..... full job details .....
