Overview

Candidates must be eligible for their own GMC registration. MFT cannot support GMC Sponsorship for candidates who are offered permanent vacancies. This is a full-time position with 10 programmed activities spread throughout the week. The post holder will form part of the Trauma and Orthopaedics (TandO) team delivering pelvic trauma services. The appointee should be able to demonstrate competency in dealing with pelvic and general trauma and should have completed at least six months in a fellowship position.Responsibilities

Provide a comprehensive pelvic trauma service including the management of polytraumaDeliver general trauma care as part of the on-call rotaAttend and contribute to the fracture clinicParticipate in the major trauma consultant of the week rotaManage elective hip arthroplasty theatre and outpatient activitiesQualifications and Requirements

Eligible for GMC registration; MFT cannot sponsor GMC visas for permanent rolesMinimum of six months in a fellowship positionDemonstrated competency in pelvic and general trauma10 programmed activities (PAs) spread throughout the weekAbout MFT
