OverviewExciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our successful Major Projects division. As part of our commercial team, you’ll play a key role in our major projects portfolio empowering decision-making, providing expert advice, managing all commercial activities, and overseeing the change control process. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Responsibilities

Perform risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract.

Lead and drive the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors.

Maintain awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to.

Monitor and report forecast against cost and value and manage cashflow.

Oversee and manage the commercial team on your contracts and support their development.

Qualifications and Experience

Enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in construction, civil engineering or highways.

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Excellent knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts.

CSCS card essential for this role.
