You will need to have your own transprot as we are based in a rural location between Matlock and Ashbourne. Job Purpose: To ensure the effective management of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards within mineral processing operations. The role focuses on aligning practices with ISO standards, especially ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement across safety, environmental, and quality systems. Key Responsibilities: Safety and Health Management (ISO 45001:2018) Maintain and develop and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) aligned with ISO 45001:2018 requirements. Conduct gap analyses to ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 45001:2018 standards and recommend improvements. Identify and assess hazards in mineral processing activities (e.g., heavy machinery, hazardous chemicals, working at height). Develop and maintain risk assessments across all aspects of the site.
