Interim Management Accountant- Didcot, Oxfordshire (Hybrid)- Day Rate DOE- 3-6 MonthsAbout the RoleWe are supporting a growing SME client based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, who are looking to appoint an experienced Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3-6 month contract.This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, qualified accountant to join the finance function during a particularly busy period. You will provide additional support across the wider finance team, with a particular focus on month-end management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, able to hit the ground running and have strong experience operating within a fast-paced finance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the production of accurate and timely monthly management accountsPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare and post accruals, prepayments and journalsAssist with month-end close and associated reporting activitiesUndertake variance analysis, investigating and explaining key movementsSupport the preparation of budgets and financial forecastsAssist with cash flow and wider financial analysis where requiredProvide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support the Finance Manager / wider leadership teamIdentify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial informationProvide general support across the finance function during a period of increased workloadAbout YouWe ..... full job details .....
