You will lead the council’s ERP accounting systems and finance solutions, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to deliver top-tier systems and strategies that provide value to residents.Responsibilities
Lead a team with direct oversight of 3 members and indirect guidance of 2Manage financial contracts valued at £300,000Develop innovative ERP systems and finance solutionsCollaborate with councils and stakeholders to deliver valueWhat You Will Do
Lead and develop a resources systems team for successful financial outcomesEnsure effective financial control and assurance within council systemsMaintain influential relationships with senior stakeholders to understand future needs and risksOversee contracts with resource system suppliers to ensure ERP system integrity and developmentPromote continuous improvement within finance using KPIs and aligning with the council''s visionYour Skills
Proven expertise in ERP systems, including data management, governance, and analyticsStrong leadership skills with experience navigating challenging environmentsAbility to lead and manage change in complex organisational settingsExcellent communication skills to build influential relationships with stakeholdersCommitment to equality and diversity in the workplace, fostering a positive environmentOur Council
