This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment where your contribution will make a real difference to the lives of children, young people, and families across the borough.As part of the clients Family Services team, the Family Contact Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring safe, positive, and supportive Family Time experiences. You ll be working across the Family Resource Centre, community locations, and other appropriate venues to help families stay connected and supportedDUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Welcoming and supporting families attending contact sessionsPrioritising the safety and emotional wellbeing of children and young peopleSupporting parents in maintaining and developing positive relationships with their childrenSupervising contact sessions, including those involving siblings and extended familyProviding practical and emotional guidance to parents, helping them build trust and confidenceEnsuring all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience of working with children, young people, and familiesA caring, flexible, and professional approachStrong safeguarding knowledge and commitmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEnhanced DBS check Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.To discuss ..... full job details .....
