Please note this is a Night Shift role working Monday-Friday 10pm-6am only.Role OverviewThis role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repair, and improvement of production machinery equipment. The position supports operational efficiency by responding to breakdowns, completing preventative maintenance, and assisting with equipment modifications and new installations as required.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain all production machinery and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operationRespond promptly to machinery breakdowns, carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtimeSupport the planning and execution of the preventative maintenance programmeEnsure machinery, equipment, and guard systems are maintained in a safe and serviceable conditionAccurately complete and maintain maintenance records, ensuring they are regularly updatedEnsure all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards are adhered to at all timesMaintain appropriate stock levels of spare parts, arranging the ordering or manufacture of components when requiredLiaise with external contractors and sub-contractors for specialist servicing or repair workEnsure all production equipment complies with legal guarding and safety requirementsIdentify opportunities for machinery and process improvements, implementing agreed changes in line with Manufacturing Engineering approval and validation ..... full job details .....
