School Caretaker Hammersmith and Fulham Immediate Start Location: The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham School Type: Secondary School Start Date: ASAP Pay: £15 £19 per hour (depending on experience) At Coyles, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a large secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham, who are looking for an experienced and dependable School Caretaker to join their site team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in caretaking, facilities, or general maintenance to contribute to a safe, clean, and well-functioning school environment. About the Role: As the School Caretaker, you will be responsible for: General site maintenance and repairs Opening and securing the premises Liaising with contractors and school staff Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the site Supporting with furniture moves, deliveries, and minor plumbing or electrical work Requirements: Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or similar hands-on role A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently Good communication and organisational skills A full UK driving licence is highly desirable (but not essential) An Enhanced DBS is required for this role If you do not currently have one on the Update Service, you will need to apply for a new DBS.
