Your main goal as a Relationship Director with HSBC will be to operate as a person of influence for customers with a turnover between 15M and 350M, ensuring customer service excellence.Customer portfolios will include both domestic and international relationships, involving managing all aspects of the relationship including operational and credit risk. Success in this role requires creating and maintaining strong, evolving partnerships internally and externally.Your responsibilities will include:Growing the business sustainably by identifying opportunities to expand the portfolio and broadening client relationships through HSBC''s extensive network.Being an ambassador for HSBC and developing the bank’s profile in the local business and wider community.Supporting customers and prioritizing their needs, setting world-class standards.Seeking new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships to generate new business.Building a network of business introducers in the local professional and business community.Adhering to structures and processes for managing credit, operational, reputation, financial crime, and regulatory risk.Collaborating with product partners to assess customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.The ideal candidate will have:Experience in a relevant role within Corporate Banking/Financial Services.Proven ability to identify and meet customer needs, generating complex lending and applying suitable products and solutions.Ability to build effective networks across business areas based on mutual trust.A strong understanding of risk management and compliance with regulatory processes.Corporate coverage experience with knowledge of the UK Consumer and Industrials market.Experience in credit, cashflow, and asset-based lending.Strong relationship management skills.Self-motivated with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and work collaboratively to meet deadlines.This is a hybrid position based at Queen Victoria Street, London, requiring some travel around London and Surrey.
