Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Complex Needs Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity? Do you have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, complex needs, or disabilities?

A welcoming and inclusive Specialist School in Thatcham is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Assistant to join their supportive team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Complex Needs Assistant to provide meaningful 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities, communication needs, and medical requirements.

This Complex Needs Assistant role will involve:

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs
• Supporting pupils with communication, sensory, physical, and learning needs
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
• Encouraging pupils to develop their confidence, independence, and social skills
• ASAP start
• Well-connected location with good public transport links

If you have previous experience in care, support work, education, or working with children with additional needs, we would love to hear from you. Experience supporting pupils with complex needs, autism, PMLD, or personal care is highly desirable for this Complex Needs Assistant position.
