As a MET Technician at Hedin Automotive, your primary focus will be to examine damaged vehicles, identify mechanical and electrical components that require repair or replacement, and complete repairs to meet BMW standards. Once repaired, you will ensure that final quality checks are undertaken in line with our high standards. The main duties of the role include: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults and damage Remove and refit or replace various components such as mechanical items and trim Demonstrate proficiency in working with engine, gearbox, suspension, and other mechanical and electrical systems. Communicate effectively with Service and Parts departments Keep colleagues informed on repairs requiring specialist skills, additional work, difficulties and delays YOUR PROFILE. Experience in mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs in a service centre or within an accident repair centre Qualified MET Technician with NVQ Level 3, ATA/IMI in a relevant field, or equivalent.
