Job Title: Warehouse Stores / Logistics Operative / Materials HandlerLocation: Loughton Salary: 13.00ph - 14.56phHours: 07:30am - 16:00pmJob Purpose:To ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods across company Stores warehouses, supporting logistics operations to meet customer and business requirements.Key Responsibilities:Receiving and InspectionUnload deliveries and verify goods against purchase orders.Inspect items for damage and report any discrepanciesLog all inbound shipments into the system Segregate inbound goods into correct locations for put-away.Storage and Inventory ManagementOrganize and store goods safely and efficiently.Maintain accurate stock records using the warehouse management system.Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.Order / Part Picking, Checking and PackingPick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.Health and Safety ComplianceOperate forklifts and other equipment safely (if certified).Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic IT skills (Excel, Outlook); experience with WMS systems is an ..... full job details .....
