The level and amount of care can vary, depending on the clients’ needs. The service supports clients during the day and in some cases at night.

What are the Duties of a Health Care AssistantA Health Care Assistant position is focused on the individual and their different needs, so the duties are diverse, this helps to keep the job interesting and increases job satisfaction and motivation.

Duties may include:Administering medicationMaking mealsHelping with personal care such as washing, dressing, hair, mouth and skin care, and eating and drinkingEscorting clients to an activity or a medical appointmentChatting and engaging with relatives and providing care updatesCompanionshipHelping with household tasks such as laundryAssisting with paperwork such as paying billsShopping as well as support in their Community Services

Health Care Assistant in MM Care Services Requirements:It is important to have a full, driving license for driving in the UK, and access to your own car.Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) required.Work experience is valuable.Mandatory Training is provided.
