Learning Support Assistant (LSA) andndash; Rochester | September 2025 Start

This welcoming and inclusive school in Rochester is looking for dedicated LSAs to provide 1:1 support for KS3 students with ASD or SEMH needs. Fun fact: The school has a weekly "Feel-Good Friday", where students and staff celebrate achievements, big or smallandmdash;whether itandrsquo;s mastering a new skill or simply having a great day!

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Until at least March 2025)

Salary: andpound;90-100 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for KS3 students with ASD or SEMH needs.
• Foster a positive and structured learning environment tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with sensory learning, emotional regulation, and engagement strategies.
• Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement personalized learning plans.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and social interaction.
• Adapt support strategies to help students overcome challenges and thrive.

Qualifications andamp; Skills:

• Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD or SEMH needs.
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, specialists, and families.
• Ability to create a safe and engaging learning space.
• A passion for helping students succeed and feel valued.
