Join us and get a £1,000 joining bonus! Room Leader We are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Room Leader. Must hold a Level 3 or above qualification. The role is based at Wanstead Green, E11 2NT. We are looking for individuals who: Hold an NVQ level 3 or above qualification in childcare Can take responsibility for the day-to-day management of their room and encourage good practice by the staff team. Develop excellent written and verbal communication with parents. Observe each child s progress and report on their achievements. Act as a keyworker for a specified number of children. Plan a range of interesting and exciting activities to promote children s development. Create a stimulating and attractive environment. Ensure that all required standards and ratios are maintained at all times within the room. Assist the nursery with the organisation of and attend parent s meetings as required. Assist the preparation of the nursery for Ofsted inspections and action any recommendations made by the Inspector, in consultation with the Nursery Manager. In the absence of the Nursery Manager/Deputy Manager, ensure all doors are locked and lock the building at the end of the day, including the setting of the alarm. What can we offer you?
