Assistant Service Manager

We are looking for an experienced service controller or customer service manager who has a technical aptitude and good communication skills to join our friendly stable team at our Aldershot office.
The role is office based Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch.
The role will work within our service department initially handling and triaging enquiries, warranty faults and technical advice by phone and email both from our trade customers and end user customers.
If the fault cannot be resolved by phone then we would appoint a service engineer to visit and investigate the issue along with allocating spare parts to the engineers. We can call on over 200 engineers nationwide within our service network along with our own in house field service engineer.
The role would suit a previous experienced technical service advisor or after sales manager who preferably has experience dealing with resolving technical enquiries and allocating service jobs.
This role would suit an individual with a good technical understanding but also willingness to assist and resolve issues when they arise in a calm and empathetic manner.
We would love someone who could bring ideas and really put their stamp on the role.
