About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrical Tester to join our team in the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in occupied and void properties.
• Perform visual inspections and functional testing of electrical installations.
• Identify faults, recommend corrective actions, and carry out remedial works as required.
• Ensure compliance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Prepare and issue accurate reports and certificates.

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing and Inspection certification.
• Up-to-date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).
• Previous experience in electrical testing within the social housing or domestic sector.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.
• Experience working with reactive maintenance and planned works.
