We are working with a private equity backed business within the engineering space based in Sheffield, who are looking for a Project Quality Engineer to work on a key project. This business is responsible for some of the most recognisable engineering solution in the country with a strong project pipeline. Working with clients in Stadia and Arenas, Nuclear, MOD and Sports, their work is varied and extensive. This is a well-rounded, customer facing position. Working with key stakeholder both internally and externally, you will be the go-to engineer for quality and be responsible to drive success within this project. It is important to note that the project in question is in Scotland, so the successful candidate must be comfortable traveling and staying overnight on a semi-regular basis. Key Responsibilities Quality Planning and Strategy Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) Ensure alignment with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements Process and Design Control Review project designs, specifications, and changes for quality impact Support design reviews, validation, and verification activities Supplier and Subcontractor Quality Evaluate and approve suppliers from a quality perspective Conduct supplier audits and quality reviews Manage supplier non-conformances and corrective actions Inspection, Testing and Audits Define inspection and test plans ..... full job details .....
