Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys variety in your day and solving practical problems? I''m working with a well-established company in Cadishead who are looking to bring an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer into their team.

This is a key role within the site – not just about keeping things ticking over, but also getting stuck into improvement projects and helping to install new kit and technology to make things run better.

• Carrying out routine maintenance on plant equipment and machinery

• Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and getting things back up and running quickly

• Supporting the development of the maintenance schedule to keep everything on track

• Working closely with the engineering team

• Spotting opportunities for improvement and suggesting practical solutions

• Keeping accurate maintenance records

• Ensuring everything is done with safety in mind

• HNC/NVQ (or equivalent) in Engineering

• A strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance

• Confident working with heavy machinery

• A natural problem solver with a practical mindset

• Someone who works well on their own and as part of a team

• Good communication and record-keeping skills

• A solid understanding of Health & Safety best practice
