This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, hands-on mechanical engineer to join a developing production environment, where you will play an important role in maintaining plant reliability, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement. The Role As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial production equipment and site services. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs. Maintaining and repairing pumps, gearboxes, motors, agitators, valves and associated equipment. Working on mechanical drives, bearings, seals and rotating equipment. Maintenance and installation of industrial pipework and associated fittings. Welding, fabrication and general mechanical fitting. Working on industrial utilities including steam boilers and compressed-air systems. Supporting equipment installation, modifications and improvement projects.
