We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Senior Support Worker to help us deliver our CFO Evolution contract in the North-West. The contract works with offenders in Custody and through-the-gate into their local community to help them address their resettlement goals. As Senior Support Worker, you will provide specialist employment support to prisoners close to release at our open prisons: HMP Thorn Cross, HMP Kirkham and HMP Haverigg. Ensuring that they are work ready, you will secure ROTL placements and employment on release. You will support other project participants into employment from other locations too. Working in partnership with stakeholders and developing links with employers are integral to the role. You\''ll need to be proactive, performance driven and a good communicator. The ability to achieve targets, record accurate information and evidence outcomes is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist employment support to prisoners close to release at open prisons (HMP Thorn Cross, HMP Kirkham, HMP Haverigg).

Ensure job readiness and secure ROTL placements and employment on release.

Support other project participants into employment from various locations.

Work in partnership with stakeholders and develop links with employers.

Be proactive, performance driven and a good communicator; achieve targets and record evidence of outcomes.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience working with employers in the context of seeking opportunities for people facing multiple barriers.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working with offenders/vulnerable people.
