As a result of continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Buyer to further strengthen their purchasing team. As Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for leading key purchasing projects, You will take full responsibility for: The management of key commodities and purchasing strategies Balancing strategic purchasing with transactional elements Managing a Global supply base Leading purchasing projects An experienced Buyer or Senior Buyer it is essential that you have experience in a manufacturer and ideally an SME. You will be experienced in supplier management, supplier negotiation and cost down initiatives. You will be open to continued development and support as well as have the confidence to drive your own initiatives. Experience in commodity management and or market analysis would be a distinct advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established, secure and growing manufacturer in order to further support their progression.
