This is a senior, hands-on role focused on owning and evolving enterprise Microsoft platforms across SQL Server, SharePoint, Azure, web, and identity services within a high-availability, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Microsoft Platform Engineer: Provide third-line support for business-critical platform services Own and support SQL Server, SharePoint (on-prem and cloud), IIS/web platforms, Azure services, and identity services including SSO and MFA Proactively monitor, maintain, and optimise platform performance, availability, capacity, and disaster recovery Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution Deliver platform upgrades, deployments, and infrastructure changes in line with change management processes Act as a technical lead, mentoring engineers and supporting both BAU and project delivery Collaborate with application teams, business services, and third-party vendors Participate in an on-call rota supporting core infrastructure services Key Requirements of the Senior Microsoft Platform Engineer: Proven experience managing enterprise Microsoft platform services Strong hands-on expertise across SQL Server, SharePoint, Azure, IIS/web infrastructure, ..... full job details .....
