Manufacturing Supervisor Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Salary: £42,000 £45,000 DOE Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 4pmWe are working with a well-established UK pharmaceutical manufacturer operating from a modern, state-of-the-art GMP facility in Hertfordshire. Following continued growth and internal movement, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join their manufacturing leadership team.The Role Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a manufacturing team of approximately 15 direct reports. You will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations while ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, safety, and efficiency. The role also includes deputising for the Manufacturing Manager when required.Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including blending, granulation, compression, and encapsulation Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, SOPs, MHRA requirements, approved BPRs, and safety policies Plan and allocate resources, manage workflow, and monitor performance against production targets Maintain inspection-ready manufacturing areas with high housekeeping and safety standards Review batch documentation in real time and manage deviations, investigations, and CAPAs Supervise, coach, train, and develop Operators and Senior Operators, including performance management Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, and equipment upgrades Collaborate ..... full job details .....
