Are you a Finance Assistant with 2/3 years+ experience looking for their next role? Our client, a well-established and fast-growing organisation is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their busy Finance team. This role is full-time and based 5 days a week in the office. This is a varied, hands-on role covering data entry, ledger management, and reconciliation work across a number of companies within the Group, using Sage200 Professional. Please note, this role is based in Witham but you will need to be a car driver to reach our client''s offices. Key Responsibilities: Downloading and reviewing sales invoices from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Coding and posting sales and purchase invoices to Sage200 Managing the purchase invoice inbox and chasing invoice authorisations with department heads Posting bank receipts and payments, allocating to customer/supplier ledgers Reconciling purchase ledger accounts against supplier statements Providing holiday/sickness cover for the Group Sales Ledger and Group Purchase Ledger Supporting the daily credit control function Assisting with month-end deadlines, accruals, and prepayments Supporting ad-hoc projects for the UK and European Management Accountants What We''re Looking For: GCSE level Maths and English (essential) AAT qualification desirable but not essential 3+ years'' experience in a similar Sales/Purchase Ledger or finance administration role Strong communication skills, able to build rapport with suppliers and ..... full job details .....
