The role involves working to fine tolerances using cylindrical and surface grinding machines, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and company procedures. Key Responsibilities? Operate a range of grinding machines to fine tolerances.? Work independently with minimal supervision.? Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.? Carry out internal and external grinding using cylindrical and surface grinding machines.? Maintain awareness of responsibilities under environmental procedures.? Maintain an up-to-date Practical Experience Record (PER) book.? Provide training or knowledge transfer to colleagues within a defined scope, subject to experience and qualifications.? Ensure all duties are completed in accordance with health and safety, environmental regulations, and company procedures. Education and Qualifications? Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.? Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English. Experience and Technical Knowledge? Proven experience operating internal and external grinding machines.?
